Axsa Corporation provide complete dryer and filter packages, sized to suit your compressor FAD and your plant requirements. Some plants require large amounts of clean and dry air at intervals, in this situation to reduce running costs we would recommend a smaller compressor and dryer/filter package supplying a large air receiver. Other plants have a steady consumption requirement and for these applications a suitably sized compressor supplying an air receiver and then feeding through the dryer / filter package is the prefered method as a large percentage of the air moisture content condenses in the receiver taking load off the dryer and extending the life of filters.

Pre filters are the first filter in an air system and filter down to approx 1.0 micron. They are generally used to protect dryers and are placed on the inlet side.
Final filters are much finer and filter down to 0.01 micron and 0.01 oil carry-over. They are placed on the outlet of a dryer and ensure that very good quality air is provided to the point of use, extending the life of pneumatic equipment and tools.
Activated Carbon Filters are used in Breathing Air applications, please note, Pre and Final-Filters must be installed before Activated Carbon Filters!
